By airplane
Târgu Mureş is served by the Transilvania Airport which provides both domestic and international flights. It is currently operated by Tarom, Malev and Wizzair.
Other nearby airports are Cluj-Napoca International Airport (100km) and Sibiu International Airport (140km).
By car
Târgu Mureş can be reached by car on the European Route E60. The major Romanian cities along E60 are: Oradea, Cluj-Napoca, Târgu Mureş, Braşov, Ploieşti, Bucharest (Bucureşti) and Constanţa.
