Call for Papers
Dear Colleague,
We would like to invite you to the 7th International Conference INTER-ENG 2013, Interdisciplinarity in Engineering, which will take place on October 10th - 11th 2013, at the "Petru Maior" University of Tirgu Mures in Romania.
The call is being scoped with a view to build critical mass and progress research in development of advanced technologies for the next-generation manufacturing processes.
The conference will promote dialogue on how to comprehend and develop advanced engineering technologies and achieve next-generation industrial manufacturing in the interdisciplinary context from different fields: mechanics, electronics, informatics, etc.
The Inter-Eng Conference drives innovation and enterprise, creating new technologies and developing applications and intellectual property for the benefit of the society. The event will develop thinking on modelling for future engineering technologies.
It creates a base to train high-tech and advanced manufacturing workforces to meet the needs of the rapid changing technology and provide service to industry for promoting the advanced technologies.
This conference aims to bring together the researchers, scientists, professors, graduate students and civil society organizations and their representatives to share and to discuss theoretical and practical knowledge in the scientific environment.
In this edition special attention will be given to young professional orientation to technical studies, that will be invited to participate in plenary sessions, but a Worksop will also be hold for both teachers and students from high schools, with the theme of Vocational education and training in engineering and industrial management.
Inter-Eng 2013 edition also hosts the final dissemination conference for the transfer of innovation project Global-SRS, entitled "Mobility learning methodology for European trainers and VET systems quality improvement". It has been conducted in the Leonardo da Vinci Lifelong Learning Programme, the Transfer of Innovation action, by Center for Flexible Learning Soderhamn in partnership with HiST Contract ResearchTrondheim, Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade Lisabon and the Petru Maior University of Targu-Mures. Latest achievements in mobile learning methodology will be presented and demonstrated by project partners from Sweden, Norway, Portugal and Romania.
Reviewed and accepted papers will be published as one dedicated issue in Elsevier's Procedia Technology Journal (ISSN: 2212-0173) and made available in open-access on Elsevier's ScienceDirect, which is used by millions of researchers and professionals on a monthly basis guaranteeing maximum visibility of the research paper. as one dedicated issue in Elsevier's Procedia Technology
Beside these, there are keynote speakers referring to the latest developments, and workshops.
In this edition of the Inter-Eng Conference, the Virtual Online Conference Panel is extended with the Video Laboratory tool. It is dedicated to researchers who would like to make their presentations online from their home countries.
We would like to invite you to share your expertise, your experience, and your new research results about industrial management and engineering with the colleagues.
- Best regards,
- Prof.univ.dr. Călin ENĂCHESCU
- President of the Conference
- Rector of "Petru Maior" University of Targu Mures, Romania
