Bio: Professor dr. eng. dr. h. c. Ioan CURTU is full member of Romanian Academy of Technical Sciences, Department of Technical Mechanics and foreign member of Natural Sciences Academy from Russian Federation, president of ARTENS and member of professional associations: AGIR, SRMTA.
He obtained PhD. Degree at Brasov University (1972) – actually “Transilvania” University of Brașov, Romania, having a teaching and educational activity for over 45 years in domain of Materials Strength, Wood Rheology, Rheology, Mechanics of Wood. He was head of Department of Strength of Materials and Vibration (1986 – 2008). At present, he is PhD thesis scientific coordinator for 3 doctoral students, and 27 doctoral students have completed the PhD thesis, with the title of doctor engineer confirmed by Education and Research Ministry. His scientific activities are reflected in projects coordination (experience gathered in a multitude of national and European research projects: TEMPUS 2734: 1991–1994, Type D international Bank: 1998–2002, RELANSIN: 2002–2004, MATNANTECH: 2003–2004, CEEX 49, 211, 2019: 2006–2008, PNII 71-016: 2007-2010, etc.), 7 patent inventions and innovation certificates, author of over 450 published articles and scientific papers (in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Moldova, Austria, Slovenia, Portugal, Hungary, Estonia, South African Republic, Romania, etc.).
In the educational field, prof. dr. eng. Bio: Dr. Miguel Ángel Sellés is Associate Professor at Universitat Politecnica de Valencia. His research interests are tribology and bioengineering. He obtained his PhD thesis working at the BIO group, University of Notre Dame, USA.

He participated in several mobility programs on the field of tribology at University of Notre Dame (USA), Ostfalia University (Germany), Lahti University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Heilbronn University (Germany), Nürtinguen-Geislingen University (Germany) and University of Oradea (Romania).
Dr. Sellés is member of the Spanish Society of Manufacturing Engineering and technical chair of the International Tribology in Manufacturing Research Group. He has participated as session chair at international conferences such as “Manufacturing Engineering Society International Conference MESIC” (Spain), “North American Manufacturing Research Conference NAMRC-SME “ (USA) and “ASME International Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference (MSEC)” (USA).
Dr. Sellés has published 3 books, more than 20 book chapters and more than 40 scientific articles.

Bio: Dr. Yan Zhang is currently Head of Department, Department of Networks at Simula Research Laboratory, Norway. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo, Norway.

He received a PhD degree in School of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is an associate editor or on the editorial board of a number of well-established journals. He also serves as the guest editor for IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Intelligent Systems, ACM/Springer Multimedia Systems, Elsevier Computer Communications, and ERURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking. He is currently serving the Book Series Editor for the book series on "Wireless Networks and Mobile Communications" (Auerbach Publications, CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group). Predrag Dašić

Bio: Predrag Dašić is a professor for Web design, Production information systems (PIS) and Advanced machining processes at High Technical Mechanical School of Professional Studies in Trstenik (Serbia). He received a postgraduate thesis at University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 1985. He was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Science by Donbas State Engineering Academy (DSEA) in Kramatorsk (Ukraine).

His research interests are: programming, information systems (IS), production engineering, advanced machining processes, cutting tools, ceramic cutting tools, reliability, reliability analysis, statistical analysis, response surface methodology (RSM), design of experiments (DoE), bibliometric and citation analysis. Predrag Dašić is a member of the World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (WASET), Patron member of the New York Academy of Science (NYAS), foreign member of the Ukrainian Academy of Engineering Sciences (UAES) and member of the Ukrainian Technological Academy (UTA). Also, he is the member of the following international and national associations: American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), International Neural Network Society (INNS), European Neural Network Society (ENNS), International Association for Statistic Computing (IASC), International Association for Management of Technology (IAMOT), International Association of Engineers (IAEng), American Statistical Association (ASA), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), European Association for Programming Languages and Systems (EAPLS), European Association of Software Science and Technology (EASST), Danube Adria Association for Automation and Manufacturing (DAAAM) International, Serbian Chemical Society (SCS). He is also the guest editor of reference journal indexed in SCI-E: "Strojniški Vestnik - Journal of Mechanical Engineering", Vol. 55, No. 2 (February 2009), and the technical editor of journals: "IMK-14 Research and development" in 2005 and 2009 and "International Journal for Quality Research" in 2013.
Predrag Dašić has published more than 450 scientific articles, of which 15 papers in reference journal indexed in SCI and SCI-E, 150 papers in journals, 45 invitation papers and 240 papers at international and national conferences. He has also published 2 scientific monographs, 5 books and is the editor of more than 30 conference proceedings in printed and 15 in electronic form. His dictionary "100,000 technical and ICT abbreviations and acronyms" is currently in the publishing phase. His papers are cited in 60 articles without self-citation in the WoS and Scopus citation databases, more than 240 articles in the Google Scholar (GS) and more than 120 citations are in the doctoral dissertations and master's theses.
Also, the author has 3 patents and 2 technical improvements. He has developed 14 scientific software applications, for the application of theoretical and practical methods in solving practical engineering problems, which are successfully applied in practice and developed 2 Web presentations.
He has received numerous awards and honors most notably: Awards for innovation and technical improvement in 1984 and 1985 from company IMK "14 october" in Kruševac, Award for scientific-technical improvements and innovations in municipality Kruševac for the year 1987, Golden medal with character of Nikola Tesla for best patent in 2011 and 2013 from Association of Inventors and Author of Technical Improvements of Belgrade and etc.

Bio: Dr. habil László Kovács from University of Miskolc, Department of Information Technology is a well known specialist in knowledge modeling and data mining. He obtained a PhD degree in technical sciences from University of Miskolc, (HU).
Main teaching areas cover Database Systems, Database Administration, OLAP and Data Mining, XML-data management, Ontology Management.
The research interest of Dr. Kovács involves the following areas: soft computing, heuristic optimizations, ontology modeling in database systems, statistical grammar induction.
He participated in several mobility programs on the field of software engineering and database management at DEC Munich, University of Helsinki, University of Lisboa, University of Karlsruhe, University of Dortmund, University of Klagenfurt, University of Erlangen.
Dr Kovács has about 110 publications with 36 references. He is the Head of the Department and the leader of the research group on ontology-based grammar induction at University of Miskolc.

Keynote Title: "Non-intrusive techniques for vulnerability assessment of services in distributed systems"

Bio: Dr. Béla Genge is a Marie Curie Fellow and Senior Lecturer at Petru Maior University of Tg. Mures, Romania. He obtained his PhD from Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania in the field of network security.
His research interests are: critical infrastructure protection (e.g., power plants, water plants, and the future electricity grid - Smart Grid), anomaly detection systems, and network security in general. In 2014 he has been awarded the prestigious Marie Curie Career Integration Grant (48 months). The research under this grant focuses on developing novel techniques for secure and resilient design of critical infrastructures. He authored and co-authored papers in prestigious journals (IEEE Communication Surveys and Tutorials, Communications of the ACM, IEEETransactions on Emerging Topics in Computing, International Journal on Critical Infrastructure Protection, Elsevier Computers and Electrical Engineering) and conferences/workshops (IFIP Networking, IFIP Critical Infrastructure Protection, European Workshop on System Security - EUROSEC, International Conference on Critical Information Infrastructures Security - CRITIS, IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies). He is a reviewer for journals including IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, Elsevier Computers and Electrical Engineering, and Journal of Information Processing Systems. Before his employment at Petru Maior University Dr. Béla Genge was a post-doctoral researcher (2010 to 2013) at Institute for the Protection and Security of the Citizen, Joint Research Centre, Ispra, Italy where we conducted experimental network security research on cyber-physical systems.
Dr. Béla Genge is the main founder of Network and Information Security group in Petru Maior University of Tg. Mures.
