Virtual Online Conference Panel
Like in the previous years, in this edition of the Conference will be organised also an online presentation sessions, named: Virtual Online Conference Panel. This alternative approach is intended for researchers who aren't able to attend to the conference for different reasons but still want to have access to this scientific event.
Those who would like to make their presentations online from their own location will also be granted with a certificate and their papers will be considered for publications similar to other participants as if they were present physically.
Those who would like to make use of the Virtual Online Conference Panel facility will be requested to send their materials such as posters or power point presentations to the Conference secretariat. Both the papers and those electronic materials will be exposed during the conference by multimedia facilities available on presentations hall.
Each and every virtual paper or presentation poster will be associated with an electronic forum through which the participants may interact with the researchers and authors during and even after the conference. The researchers who receive such feedback, questions, suggestions or opinions will be expected to contribute in a similar way through providing answers to questions and replying to any feedback given by the participants of the conference.
Technical details
Virtual participants will need to have the appropriate multimedia software and hardware at their side so that they can actively take part in the video conferences.

In the week of the Conference, from Monday to Wednesday, between hours 18:00 and 20:00 PM Tirgu Mures local time (shown on official website) is scheduled on-line tests sessions for adjusting the settings of the video conference application that will be used for Virtual On-line Panel on Thursday and Friday.

If you didn't received your credentials (username/password) please contact the Chair.
We are kindly invite you to upload your presentation in PDF (landscape) or Power Point format by accessing the "Speakers Presentations" link from Presentation section (max. file size is 15 Mb).
In order to join the Conference select the desired virtual room from Virtual Presentation Panel section.
Please permit to the Flash Player Plugin to run, otherwise you cannot use your microphone and camera.
On the small screen "Adobe Flash Player Screen" choose allow and then select your sound source (microphone) checkmark "reduce echo" and put the Record Volume slider around 25% from maximum value. After these operations you may join to the conference!
To become familiar with the proposed system we recommend visiting BigBlueButton Demo meeting and do some tests.
The requirements for participating to the Virtual Panel are:
- - is recommend the presenters to have (at least) 0.5 Mbits/sec upstream communication bandwidth, and (at least) 1 Mbits/sec download bandwidth (please check your speed here). We do not recommend wireless communication;
- - a computer with (at least) 1 MbRAM and dual core processor is recommended;
- - headset with microphone (very important) and
- - a webcam
- - web-browser that support Adobe Flash Player (the most recent version is preferable to be installed. Check your version here)
