Call for Papers

Dear Colleague,

We would like to invite you to the 16^th International Conference INTER-ENG 2022, Interdisciplinarity in Engineering, which will take place on October 6th - 7th 2022, at the „George Emil Palade” University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Târgu Mureș in Romania.

The call is being scoped with a view to build critical mass and progress research in development of advanced technologies for the next-generation manufacturing processes that will support future governance of innovation.

The conference will promote dialogue on how to comprehend and develop advanced engineering technologies and achieve next-generation industrial manufacturing in the interdisciplinary context from different fields: mechanics, electronics, informatics, etc.

The Inter-Eng Conference drives innovation and enterprise, creating new technologies and developing applications and intellectual property for the benefit of the society. The event will develop thinking on modelling for future engineering technologies.

The conference aims to bring together the researchers, scientists, professors, graduate students and civil society organizations and their representatives to share and to discuss theoretical and practical knowledge in the scientific environment.

Reviewed and accepted papers will be published as one dedicated issue in Springer Nature's Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (ISSN: 2367-3370) and made on-line open-access available, accesible to the millions of researchers and professionals on a monthly basis guaranteeing maximum visibility of the research paper as one dedicated issue in Springer Nature's Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems.

Continuing from the previous editions special attention will be given to young professional orientation to technical studies, that will be invited to participate in plenary sessions, but a Worksop will also be hold for both teachers and students from high schools, with the theme of Vocational education and training in engineering and industrial management.

Inter-Eng 2022 edition also hosts the valorisation event with national VET players, policy makers and stakeholders, of the Erasmus+, Encrypt 4.0 project, entitled “Joint Cyber Workforce Development Initiative to Enable The European Industry to Overcome the Shortage of Cybersecurity Professionals”.

It will be a one day presentation and demonstrations of Encrypt 4.0 Collaborative Training Platform that is developed by partners from Austria, Cyprus, Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria and Romania but also results from the implementation in Romanian partner organisations.

Beside these, there are keynote speakers referring to the latest developments, and workshops.

In the Inter-Eng Conference, the Virtual Online Conference Panel is used in combination with the Video Laboratory tool. It is dedicated to researchers who would like to make their presentations online from their home countries.

We would like to invite you to share your expertise, your experience, and your new research results about industrial management and engineering with the colleagues.

AIM AND SCOPES

The conference aims to promote dialogues, discussion and exchanges on how to manage industrial processes in more innovative, productive and effective manners.
The role of technology will be underlined in the context of the East European transition economies so that possible adaptations, learning, and improvement of research, practical examples, and excellent practices can be made.
The continuous improvement as a result of technological applications and organizational innovation will be the focal point.
The participants can exchange new ideas, grounds, premises, and findings in the field of industrial engineering management. Special events and remarkable key-note speakers will add a great value to the conference.
Please note that only papers connected with or relevant for the general theme of the conference will be accepted.

PUBLICATION

• All proposals (extended abstracts and full papers) will be subjected to peer-reviews.
• The selection panel of the conference committee will consider all extended abstracts received by the submission deadline to ensure that the proposed paper is relevant to the Conference.
• The authors of abstracts that describe a relevant paper will receive in a notification of abstract selection.
• All full papers will be double-blind reviewed by reviewers of the conference committee to ensure that the paper:
• • follows the proposed subject of their abstract,
  • is of a suitable length,
  • is of a sufficiently high quality to be accepted for presentation at the conference and publication in the conference proceedings,
  • meets the submission criteria laid down in the review form, that is focused on 10 issues,
  • is appropriately referenced,
  • has an adequate standard of Language. For authors whose first language is not English we request that you have your work proof read prior to submission by a native English speaker (or at least a fluent English speaker). Papers can be rejected due to a poor standard of English.

• All accepted and presented papers will be published as one dedicated issue in Springer Nature's Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems Journal (ISSN: 2367-3370) and made on-line open-access available on Springer Nature's Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems Journal portal. It will be submitted to Clarivate Analytics Conference Proceedings Citation Index-ScienceSM (ISI Web of Science) for evaluation of inclusion in the list.
