Interdisciplinarity in Engineering Conference (INTER-ENG) is held in the city of Tîrgu Mureş which has not only a rich cultural heritage but is also an important intellectual center hosting museums, technical, medical and drama universities. Founded in 1960 by the Ministry of Education and Culture and functioning without interruption under different names and higher education structures, the “Petru Maior” University numbers 51 years of existence. The presence of this institution in Tîrgu Mureş has provided the old Transylvanian town that particular nucleus of spiritual, scientific and cultural life that marks the cultural level of an entire urban community where cultural, ethnical and confessional interrelationships are extremely complex and with high spiritual potential.
Tîrgu Mureş is located 50 km from the medieval fortress of Sighişoara, place where was born the Wallachian prince from the XV-th century nowadays well known as "Dracula" (a.k.a. Vlad Dracul, Vlad the Impaler). For more information about Vlad Dracul house, please use the following link.

Depending on the number of interested persons we propose to organize some conference tours to visit Sighişoara (medieval fortress and Dracula house), Brașov (Black Church, Rope Street, Schei Gate), Sibiu (Brukental Museum, Grand Square, Lesser Square, Bridge of Lies ) and Tîrgu-Mureș.
